Our festival takes place at the wonderful Parksville Outdoor Theatre as well as the stunning Maffeo Sutton Park in Nanaimo near the downtown core. With easy accessibility for both local residents and tourists, the festival provides a perfect outing for families to enjoy.
Our vision for the festival is to create cherished memories for both the audience and performers. We showcase shows that highlight the environment we are performing in, allowing you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty that surrounds us. From breathtaking views to the enchanting sounds of nature, every moment at the festival is designed to be a truly magical experience. The festival runs from the end of July to August, with a mid-week to weekend schedule. We kick off the festival with preview shows on Wednesday and Thursday, leading up to the main performances on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This allows you to plan your visit according to your convenience and availability. To enhance your experience, we open the doors an hour early, giving you ample time to set up a picnic and enjoy the picturesque surroundings. Bring your blankets, chairs, and delicious treats to create a cozy and memorable picnic experience before the show begins.
